• You are testing a one-off idea, not a series brand voice
• You do not need the same audio file in Premiere or another editor
• Region and voice list in your CapCut build already sound good enough

When a downloadable MP3 + SRT wins

• You batch many Shorts and want voiceovers ready before the edit
• You reuse one voice across CapCut, Premiere, or a second editor
• You want an SRT from the same take for YouTube upload or burn-in
• CapCut’s default voices feel overused on your niche feed
• You publish in languages or voices CapCut does not give you cleanly

1. One quick test Short → CapCut TTS is fine
2. Weekly series with a locked voice → generate MP3 first, then CapCut
3. Need captions on YouTube without retyping → keep the SRT with the MP3
