Write like you talk on camera
If you would not say the sentence out loud, do not paste it into Studio. Essays become robotic. Spoken tips become usable Shorts.

- Keep one idea per sentence
- Put the important word near the end when you want emphasis
- Cut filler you would skip when speaking to a friend
Punctuation is direction
- Use periods to create clean stops
- Commas create light pauses — useful in lists
- Avoid walls of text without line breaks
- Question marks help conversational hooks land
- Ellipses and stacked dashes often confuse TTS — prefer short sentences
A before / after you can steal
Weak: “In this video we will be discussing three important tips that can help you improve your productivity when creating content for social media platforms.”
Stronger: “Three tips so you batch Shorts faster. First — write all scripts before you open Studio. Second — lock one voice for the week. Third — export SRT with every take.”
Read it out loud first
If you trip over a sentence, the voiceover will too. Rewrite until it feels easy to say in one breath for Shorts. This step saves more credits than any mood preset.
Match mood to format
Hype hooks need energy; tutorials need clarity. Pick a preset first, then nudge rate or pitch only if the take needs it. Do not rewrite the script with the mixer.
Shorts-specific writing habits
- Front-load the hook — do not bury the point
- One idea per sentence
- Cut filler (“basically”, “you know”, long intros)
- End with a clear action for the viewer
- Stay under ~45 seconds of speech for tip Shorts
- Keep each Studio generate under 700 characters
Numbers, brands, and mixed languages
- Write numbers the way you want them spoken (“twenty percent” vs “20%” — test once)
- Spell brand names how viewers say them if TTS misreads acronyms
- For Hinglish, write the mix you actually speak — do not force pure Hindi mid-sentence

Usually the script is too formal or too long. Shorten lines, add natural punctuation, and try a different mood on the next generate.
Should I write differently for Hindi TTS?
Yes — write conversational spoken Hindi, not textbook Hindi. Same rule in Tamil, Telugu, or Bengali: speakable beats formal.
How many regenerates is normal?
If you regenerate more than twice per Short, fix the script offline first. Credits disappear fastest on half-written lines.
